The Bavarian Cottage is physically located in a forest in Porumbacu de Sus, in Sibiu County, but its spirit, origins and symbols come from so many places and times... And we are delighted to have given them a form that we are proud of, through which they can be understood and which you can enjoy if you choose to be our guests.

The Bavarian cottage was designed as a place to escape, relax and socialize with family or friends. Everything, in the smallest details, is designed with this purpose in mind. The intimacy it offers, the mood that envelops you here, the idea of exclusivity, of a special, particular style - Bavarian and Saxon, present in all elements - and the feeling of elegant comfort, make all the spaces of the cottage a real experience.

The property offers you 7 double rooms with their own bathrooms, and the German language has an extremely appropriate word to describe them: "laúschig". We translate it as "cozy" or comfortable.

The decor details, the wood, the white of the walls, the furniture, the quality of the materials, the warm light of the bulbs and the natural light of the mountain (which offers the same magic, no matter if it is the Bavarian Alps or the Făgăraş Mountains) – all create the feeling of a cozy embrace that you are greeted with when you enter, then pampered as you sleep or relax.

The living rooms and the kitchen are exactly the two spaces that "transform" a cottage into a social setting. They are the places where everyone meets, interacts, plays, tells stories... They are the places where eating together is an event in itself, whether it is breakfast, morning coffee, brunch or dinner.

That's why we paid special attention to them, precisely to facilitate these things. And we provide you with 2 generous living rooms with dining and seating areas, plus a fully equipped kitchen.
